Description : Run commands on your host machine from inside your flatpak sandbox, toolbox or distrobox containers
This package is useful for anyone using Debian inside a toolbx or
distrobox container, so that they can launch commands on the host machine.
For instance, I use a Debian toolbx on a host running Fedora Silverblue,
and I use host-spawn to call xdg-open on the host machine, so that I
can easily open a document (e.g., an image or pdf) from the terminal
using the flatpak apps installed on my host machine.
I am not aware of any other package with similar functionality.
distrobox has a similar command called distrobox-host-exec, but
it calls host-spawn under the hood.
