Hello,

I am giving up my efforts to package cassandra. My latest packagingattempt (year 2019) can be found at salsa [1]. In short, I managed tocollect all the dependencies, but I failed to get cassandra server torun. I do not have resources nor motivation to update the packaging orget the currently packaged cassandra server to run.
