Thanks for the tip, I did that and actually got shown that the packaging
is not suitable for my needs since it was created using dpkg-deb.
However, a maintainer showed me packed LibreWolf tarballs that I can use and I made some
progress. I guess I'll be seeking sponsorship with the source package
fairly soon.

Thanks, I'll be using that packaging and am thinking of a mechanism to
keep it in sync.

I'll request review by him for the package and then ask him if I can join.

If no packaging issues arise regularly, I think I'll be fine. Most
bug reports will address the Firefox packaging, certainly.
