The software enables the capacity to manage the network shares provided by Samba and NFS, via Cockpit. This is for the server on which Cockpit is installed, or can be connected to through the multiple server functionality of web interface daemon.
The original official developers are concentrating on RPM based distributions, but do have a Debian repository. However it’s only valid for Debian 11 and Ubuntu Linux up to 20.04.
