Bug#1040433: Interest in maintaining anki for Debian

Hello,

I was browsing for opportunities to help contribute to Debian and saw 
that this package requires a new maintainer. While I have never solely 
been responsible for maintaining a project, I saw that anki was one of 
them and happened to have made extensive use of this software during my 
time as an undergraduate student. I would be very interested in 
maintaining this package and would love to do my best effort in doing 
so. I mostly work with Python professionally for my current job, but 
have recently taken it upon myself to learn and begin projects in rust 
as well. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me and I would love to 
discuss further.
