Etebase is a base for EteSync, which is open source end-to-end encrypted sync for calendars, contacts, tasks and notes.
It is fully open source and can be self-hosted (which is what I do). It is supported by KDE Akonadi and GNOME,
and this support relies on this library. It is already packaged and shipped by KDE Neon, and kdepim-runtime depends on
it, see https://invent.kde.org/neon/neon-packaging/libetebase -- this should help make a package for Debian.
