Bug#859741: RFP: mastodon -- A GNU Social-compatible microblogging server

For what it's worth, Mastodon is still not in Debian (and blocked by
many other Ruby deps), but there's alternatives out there for people
that are interested in self-hosting an ActivityPub/Mastodon compatible
service...

I just filed #1023749 for a more minimalist microblogging service, and
there's tons more tools out there, see for example:
