Hi all,I just want to chime in and say that I'm also interested in Spek and would be happy to contribute (currently a DM). For reference, in the absence of any upstream releases since 2016, there have been a couple of forks:
1. withmorten/spek-alternative - https://github.com/withmorten/spek-alternative - This one was active between 2017-2018; it mostly contains minor fixes and updated Windows/macOS builds (useful to the community, doesn't affect us directly)
2. spek-X by Mike Wang - https://github.com/MikeWang000000/spek-X- This fork is more recent (updated this week), and is based off spek-alternative. More importantly it adds support for building against FFmpeg 5.0, which the other branches currently lack. In my testing[1], the build works but the tests fail, though I don't think that would be a Debian-specific issue.
If Alexander Kojevnikov intends to revive the package it might be nice to take a look at these patches, in order to reduce duplicate work :)
