Description : Activity Journal for the GNOME desktop environment (
Powered by Zeitgeist 1.0.3 )
Description:
GNOME Activity Journal is a tool for easily browsing and finding files that you
worked on. It uses Zeitgeist to get information and metadata on what files you
have accessed. It also keeps a chronological journal of all file activity and
supports tagging and establishing relationships between groups of files.
This package already was in Debian / Ubuntu repos. But, development halted in
Nov 2011. It is now ported completely to GTK3 and Python3.8.
Why is this package useful/relevant?
It tracks file usage history and previewing.
