ruby-netconf is a Ruby GEM for device management using the NETCONF protocol as specified in RFC4741 and RFC6241. NETCONF provides mechanisms to install, manipulate and delete the configuration of network devices. It uses an XML-based data encoding for the configuration data as well as the protocol messages. The NETCONF protocol operations are realized as RPC. This GEM supports SSH, telnet and serial connections as transport layer.

Hi,

I'm closing this report. There hasn't been any update on the packaging attempt
since 2013 and were are currently cleaning our repositories. I'm going to close
this report and move the git repository into the ruby-team/attic namespace and
archive it. Nothing will be lost. If you are still interested in packaging this
gem please feel free to reopen this report and request to unarchive the git
repository.

Regards, Daniel
