  Programming Lang: OCaml, shell
Description : git based home directory backup

The gibak package provides a comfortable interface for backing up your
home directory using git. Since core git does not store much metadata
about files, giback ometastore, which saves and restores metadata
information, optionally following git semantics with respect to
.gitignore and submodules.

Comments:

- This fills a niche for me because ometastore works on my reiserfs based
server, while currently metastore does not (#470184)

- There seems not yet to be a release tarball.

- The main part of the package is ometastore, which is written in OCaml.
