If I go to the official addon page 
(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tiny-javascript-debugger/), 
it says that it is not compatible for Firefox Quantum (>=57). So I guess 
that you need at list Firefox Developer Edition, with the old extensions 
system enabled. But, as far as I remember, the only available Firefox in 
Debian is the regular one.
However, on the version page 
(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tiny-javascript-debugger/versions/), 
there is a version for Thunderbird. So maybe the description should 
mention the fact that it is currently working only on Thunderbird for 
Debian version.
