Hi,

I am the Debian maintainer of saods9, the only reverse dependency of
tclxml, and I intend to adopt the Debian package of tclxml.

The upstream author of saods9 (William Joye, in cc, to get him informed)
now also maintains (among the other requirements of saods9) tclxml:

https://github.com/wjoye/tclxml

Although the version number there is lower than the one in Debian, I
would suspect that his package is more current, and therefore use this
for a new version.

Other changes I am going to do:

* put under team maintenance (Tcl/Tk team)
* convert the packaging to git and git-buildpackage
* update debian/files to latest standards (d/copyright & Co.)
