Despite my blunder when packaging 0.9.6 and the unintended transition (promptly reverted by another DD, thus the ugly version name), perhaps you can reuse that work, which is already uploaded in experimental, and then update to 0.9.7.

If you want, I can sponsor the uploads.  If you want instead to go through mentors or have another sponsors at hand, it is fine for me as well.

(It should not be uploaded to unstable at the moment, but we can use experimental.)
