Description : live motion-graphics editor and performer
Luz is a suite of applications for creating and performing live
interactive motion-graphics.
The suite includes Luz Studio, the editor for creating interactive
motion-graphics, a lightweight 'performer' for running Luz projects, a
high-def video recorder of Luz projects, and several helper apps that
send data to the performer: an input device manager (supports
joysticks, trackpads, Wacom tablets, Wiimotes, and MIDI devices), a
live spectrum analyzer, and an OpenNI-based human body tracker.
Luz also offers real-time DMX fixture control.
The core of Luz and all plugins are written in Ruby. The helper apps are C++.
All dependencies are apt-gettable, except for the body-tracker's,
which doesn't necessarily need to be packaged.
