Brief update... Turns out packaging a library needs a bit more care than a binary package. I've now uploaded the current state of libhugetlbfs package to github[0]. There are few issues with packaging that I'm working through. I would like to have the package ready for soon after the end of freeze for stretch. [0] https://github.com/punitagrawal/libhugetlbfs
