My plan was a small refresh of this package for Strech i.e. no
packaging of the new version.
>From the updated package (in my bitbucket repository) maybe, as you
suggested me, I can also switch to compat 10 and dbgsym.
Then, I will update the upstream version and upload the package to experimental.

Do you agree with that?

I will join the pkg-gnucash project to be able to push my changes to
the Alioth repository.
