The node.js team froze the OS module API in 0.10.x version, however the
API differs a bit in lower node.js versions.

This shim just provides the missing OS module API that is available on
latest node.js versions. You can now use the os package in old node.js
versions without fear.

It's based on the current node.js implementations.

Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

This package is a dependency of spawn-sync with which I intend to
maintain within the Debian Javascript Team.

Hi,
As Debian now has version 4.x of nodejs in unstable, it make no sense to package os-shim.
The package was only required to expose the latest os API for versions of nodejs older than 0.10.
Packages stating a dependency on node-os-shim should work in Debian without it.
