I needed a way to mirror Subversion repository to Git but ruby-svn2git is not 
helpful in that regards despite being mentioned in official GitLab docs...

ruby-svn2git does very little. It looks like (at least for some repositories) 
it may be better to use my own "git-svn-convert-tags":

    https://gitlab.com/onlyjob/git-svn-convert-tags

As for SVN mirror I ended up setting up intermediate bare repository with 
special push config to push remote SVN branches as normal ones...
