Bug#830284: O: lostirc -- simple gtk-based IRC client

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

The current maintainer of lostirc, Martin Braure de Calignon <braurede@free.fr>,
is apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package now.

Maintaining a package requires time and skills. Please only adopt this
package if you will have enough time and attention to work on it.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Description-en: simple gtk-based IRC client
LostIRC is a simple, yet very useful IRC-client. It has features such as
tab-autocompletion, multiple server support, automatic joining of
servers/channels and DCC sending which should cover the needs of most
people. The client is 100% keyboard-controllable, and uses the gtkmm
 GUI library.

No, I no longer have an interest in libming, even though I continue to
support the upstream project a little bit. The project in which I was
using it ended many years ago. I am a little surprised that anyone would
still be using it since Flash has declined in popularity so much over time.

I though I had moved the packaging git to the pkg-flash team and given
my blessing for that team to take it over. Perhaps I was not formal
enough bout it, or maybe there is nobody left on that team to have
received it.

Thanks for pinging me. I use Debian at work on a daily basis, and am
keeping my eyes open for something useful I can contribute back, but
unfortunately, most of what I'm doing is not something that is
appropriate to package publicly.
