Thanks for getting back to me. I'll take that as affirmation
that you're OK with me taking over this ITP, which I am doing
with this email. :)

I assume that you also don't want to co-maintain the package
anymore, so I'm not going to add you to Uploaders: of the
initial package. If I'm wrong about that though, just let me
know.
