Bug#740172: RFS for pulling Ubuntu 5 packages to Debian

Hi Gianfranco,
2 years ago, I created ITPs in Debian for 5 softwares that are part of RAS
(reliability, availability, and serviceability) tools, used on powerpc, ppc64, ppc64el.
The packages were taken by Ubuntu devs. Now there are in Ubuntu since Trusty
but not Debian. I asked two times for help, to pull those into Debian :

As noone answered since then, I switched those bugs to RFS yesterday, thinking
that it may be a better path for inclusion.
Is that the good way to do ?  Do you have a bit of time to pull those ?
Do you need me to do anything in that direction ?
