It is still be useful since:
- It's trivial to use
- It's lightweight
- It's compatible with Android
- It can parse any date compatible with the norm
Moreover, it's required in order to update the package libaxmlrpc-java

It has actually been decided that this library is too small (a single class), and since there's only one package which requires it (libaxmlrpc-java), it has been found more convenient to embedded it directly in the build of this other package.
