Aether is a library for interacting with Java artifact repositories.
This involves the specification of local repository formats, remote
repository formats, workspaces, transports, and artifact resolution.

This package is a spin-off of the existing aether package to be used by
Maven 3.1. The project was previously hosted by Sonatype and moved to
the Eclipse Foundation. It needs to be packaged separately to avoid
breaking the other reverse dependencies (most notably gradle).
