Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist The Yubico authentication device Yubikey generates one-time passwords that can be used for authentication. This module allows you to use the Yubikey device to authenticate to the PAM system. Homepage: http://code.google.com/p/yubico-pam/ -- ,''`. Hi, Alexandre De Dommelin wrote on 09-Feb-2011: > The Yubico authentication device Yubikey generates one-time > passwords that can be used for authentication. This module allows > you to use the Yubikey device to authenticate to the PAM system. > > Homepage: http://code.google.com/p/yubico-pam/ In the meanwhile yubico-pam has been packaged and is in Debian since January 2012, build from a source package named yubico-pam (which is likely why this ITP was overseen): https://packages.qa.debian.org/y/yubico-pam.html I'm hence closing this ITP herewith. To avoid the confusion I ran into initially, here is my reasoning why this is about the same software: https://packages.qa.debian.org/y/yubico-pam.html refers to https://github.com/Yubico/yubico-pam as home page, which again refers to http://opensource.yubico.com/yubico-pam/. http://code.google.com/p/yubico-pam/ says, the project has moved to http://opensource.yubico.com/yubico-pam/. So the packaged software and this ITP indeed refer to the same software despite there seem to be two yubico-related PAM module implementations around, as I learned today at some Yubikey talk at RMLL 2014.
