I have uploaded a new package, version 1.2.2-1 (I also updated the upstream code).
I had found that, when the package was compiled with JDK 7, it would not run in Java 6 (which seems to be the default in Debian stable). I have now added compile flags that fix this.
Sorry, I uploaded the package in a hurry and didn't have time to test it in Debian (I use Ubuntu). I have tested it now using Debian stable.
