* Package name : chessdb
Version : x.y.z

Description : Excellent chess database and analysis software. GPL successor to dead scid package
(Include the long description here.)
Nearly one year ago a volunteer packaged this software and uploaded it
in search of a sponsor. The software is excellent, the package works and
it is really disappointing that it did not get sponsored. See bug 408118
If there are chess-loving DDs who read this, would one of them please
sponsor the package?
It is one of the best chess database/analysis programs, built on the
dead package scid but with major extensions and improvements. The
current situation (no package in Debian) seems like an easy
win for the Debian community.
