Until the 1.6.1 version it compiled fine. After this version, I just upload the package to our git repository and adjusted some little things like broken sim links and removed extra license files. > Is there anything you want me to do to help you get it up to speed? Actually Piwik install only the files in the right path without configuring it. My idea was to use debconf template (like phpBB package does, for example)in order to configure/settings package correctly but my skill about debconf is very poor, so I can't do it. For starting again with Piwik package, this is what we need: - upload to 1.8.1 - general package review: try to build and fix the lintian messages (I saw the e-mail from Antoine just now but seem he has already discovered many problems) - debian/copyright: it needs to be reviewed again - add debconf template - swf files: understand what we can do with these files (old mine message on d-mentors about this http://lists.debian.org/debian-mentors/2011/03/msg00085.html ) I'm very happy to know there are other people interested in packaging Piwik! That's a good news! If you want, we can work all together for trying to upload (finally!! :) Piwik in Debian. Thanks Gunnar and thanks Antoine for your time. Have a nice day. Fabrizio.
