Bug#657076: Updating and maintaining barry in Debian / Ubuntu

Great changes and explanations. See bellow for a few inline replies.

The trailing ":" is wrong in:

    Files: src/vformat.h src/vformat.c:

Did you run lintian against the source package (.dsc)?
