Bug#658261: ITP: NESICIDE - An Integrated Development Environment for the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
NESICIDE is an IDE useful for developing games in C or 6502 assembly language for the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System.
It contains:
. a fully-integrated NES emulator,
. complete exposure of the emulated NES components in several graphical and informational debuggers,
. source code editor,
. graphics editor,
. interface to the popular CC65 6502 compiler toolchain [available separately],
. source stepping in C, assembly, or mixed-mode,
. breakpoints
With NESICIDE it is possible to build a NES game from scratch, or to peek into the inner workings of games previously developed.
NESICIDE is available in three binary Debian packages that I built myself. The first two are programs, the last is a shared library containing the emulation core:

It is a Qt app, GPLv3 license. All sourcecode is available on www.gitorious.org/nesicide.
Thanks!
