I am willing to adopt curl if no one objects heavily. I am also open to 
co-maintain it with someone else.

If nobody else will show up I'll have a look at the new upstream release 
and at the bug reports in the next few days (it may take me some time to 
get to know well enough the package though). I will also need a sponsor,
since I'm not a DD yet (if you are not willing to sponsor me, I'll find 
one by other means).
