We've been shipping CS Lite in Tails for a while [0] and I'm glad
someone acknowledges the lack of such a cookie manager in Debian.

On the other hand, last time I checked, CS Lite 1.4 was unmaintained
and not compatible with FF4+. The mozilla review page [1] shows users
have been sharing patches for months to more or less fix CS Lite,
without any visible action from upstream. This makes me doubt CS Lite
is worth uploading to the Debian archive. Did I miss something?

Due to these reasons, I've filed a RFP bug (#623970) asking for Cookie
Monster [2] to be packaged for Debian. I've been using it for a few
months and am happy with it. It works pretty well with Iceweasel 5.

Another option that could satisfy those needs is CookieFast [3].
I've not tried it and it seems a bit too fresh (only one upstream
release so far) to be sure upstream will actually maintain it on the
long run, though.

What do you think?

Bye,
