After some more work with Arthur, I've pushed his git repo for codecoverage to http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-php/php-codecoverage.git;a=summary (preserving old brances of Luis in old- branches).

I think it misses a pear package invocation to apply the build.xml substitutions to the files, from upstream author's git sources.

Feel free to test and report.
