Isn't it possible to cherry-pick the fix for #566559 in the stable version of the package, then upload it to testing-proposed-updates and ask for a freeze exception as that was done for opensync (see #599472)? If the removed version is squeeze was greater than the one in stable, I think the cherry-pick should be done in this version istead to ensure an upgrade is possible for testing users which kept dpsam after its removal. > > > Is there a possibility I can co-maintain this package with you after > > that? > > You are more than welcome! > > Do you already have an account on alioth so that I can add you to the > pkg-dspam team? Yes I do. My account is robotux-guest. You said in #599498 that you want help before uploading the git version. What can I do to help? > > Cheers > Julien Cheers, Thomas
