I have recently been swamped with work at my day-job, and have thus embarrassingly had way too little time to work on ShellInABox. Having said that, I am very interested in getting it included in Debian. Most of the hard work is probably already done for you. Take a look at http://code.google.com/p/shellinabox/source/browse/trunk#trunk/distributions/debian That is probably a good starting point for you. And if you have specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you.
