R:No, it isn't definitive, and they can turn back. They was thinking to do the same strategy from Google when they created the google chrome (first they build a google chrome for windows, second for mac and for third for Linux)
Debian don't need to do a Songbird's Fork
Fork is unnecessary.
They will keep the Linux version.
Now they need a place with many developers to contribute with the project.
Debian and Ubuntu are best place for it, and we need approve it...
