Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name : libfreehep-java Version : 2.x * URL : http://java.freehep.org/ * License : LGPL Programming Lang: Java Description : encourage the sharing and reuse of Java code in High Energy Physics >From upstream homepage: "The goal of the FreeHEP library is to encourage the sharing and reuse of Java code in High Energy Physics. Although some of the code is fairly specific to HEP, other code is more generic and could be used by anyone. To maximize reuse we strive to keep the dependencies between various packages in the FreeHEP library to a minimum, so you can use which ever parts interest you without being forced to use the entire library." Actually all the different freehep-libs have to be packaged separately, but I didn't want to open an RFP for every single one. ATM I don't have the time to do it myself, but my package structorizer needs those: FreeHEP Graphics2D: http://java.freehep.org/vectorgraphics/freehep-graphics2d/source-repository.html FreeHEP GraphicsIO: http://java.freehep.org/vectorgraphics/freehep-graphicsio/source-repository.html FreeHEP GraphicsIO EMF: http://java.freehep.org/vectorgraphics/freehep-graphicsio-emf/source-repository.html FreeHEP GraphicsIO PDF: http://java.freehep.org/vectorgraphics/freehep-graphicsio-pdf/source-repository.html FreeHEP GraphicsIO SWF: http://java.freehep.org/vectorgraphics/freehep-graphicsio-swf/source-repository.html FreeHEP I/O: http://java.freehep.org/freehep-io/project-summary.html FreeHEP Swing Extensions: http://java.freehep.org/freehep-swing/project-summary.html FreeHEP Util: http://java.freehep.org/freehep-util/project-summary.html

I close this bug. Many specific bugs were opened for the various FreeHEP libraries, and now FreeHEP has already been packaged and migrated to testing.
