Nice to meet you.

Cool, I was chatting minutes ago with Dariusz on irc.
I received initial feedback from him.

Well, in this case I am sort of Debian team member. I'm an informal Debian
contributor and with that bug I am just indicating publicly my interest in
packaging this software to have it available in Debian (and later, in
derivatives
like Ubuntu).

Yes, I already have a package ready to be used. I would be nice if you
can use and test it.

The status of this is:

I have a source package waiting for review from Debian Developers.
http://lists.debian.org/debian-mentors/2010/04/msg00050.html

If everything goes well then soon we can have springpython available.
The source package is available at:
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/springpython/

Now it would be really cool if you can test the binary package (what
developers are going to install in their machines using apt-get, aptitude,
dpkg or whatever). This is available at:

http://alioth.debian.org/~nomadium-guest/python-springpython_1.1.0.M2-1_all.deb

I'm really looking forward to hear more from you (feedback!).
Please CC me in your replies.
Thanks for the great work developing this.

Cheers,
