Hello, There are a couple of interested parties currently working on pgpool2 packaging - myself and Rodolphe Quiédeville are in touch on the pkg-postgresql-public mailing list, and we'll work together to get a clean, current package uploaded soon. I also CC'ed Andreas Putzo, the current owner of ITA #471826, on a list message regarding this ITA [0] to see what his plans might be.
