aafigure is an ASCII art images parser, which can render the resulting
image to a variety of formats (including SVG, PDF, PNG and any format
supported by PIL). It has a command-line utility to do the rendering and
it works as a docutils extension that add the "aafigure" directive to
embed ASCII-art images directly in a reStructuredText document.
