Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I hereby orphan the idswakeup package. This software can be of
interest to security or network professionals dealing with NIDS.

It needs to be adapted to run with libnet1 instead of libnet0 (open
bug), and a simple bashism exists in the main program (open bug).

Description: tool for testing network intrusion detection systems
idswakeup is a Bourne shell script invoking hping2 (required) and iwu
(part of this package) to generate false alarms in order to check if
a network intrusion detection system works all right.
 .
idswakeup requires no configuration and includes many common attack
 simulations.

Closing as the package was removed from unstable.
See #507853 (RM: idswakeup -- RoQA; out of date, orphaned, dead upstream,
low popcon)
