Hi, Debian cannot at present distribute FreeCAD because of incompatible licenses. FreeCAD links both to Qt4.4 and Coin, which are GPL, and opencascade, which is licensed under Opencascade Technology Public License (OCTPL). OCTPL contains additional restrictions on the GPL, which most probably are not compatible with the GPL.
