Aehmmm ... I don't see why that should be a replacement for an arbitrary
sql client?

It works with maildirs, and not with some arbitrary SQL database. Maybe
you read to fast the part that says that the search information is
*stored* in a sql database, but not that it *indexes* sql databases?

Is there anything I am missing??? From the README/description:
mu uses libgmime2 to parse the message, and SQLite and Xapian to
	store the message data.
I assume IF you want something like this you would have to tell
libgmime2 to be able to make sql queries.

Good luck with that.

To be honest, I am inclined to close this bug.

Best wishes

Norbert
