I wasn't aware of brandy, thanks for the link :)

The main interest I have in sdlBasic is to be able to package games already coded in that language. The core interpreter for sdlBasic seems to be the same as in wxBasic [1], but using SDL instead of the wxWidgets GUI kit. Do you think it might be better to try to port the games to brandy or other framework instead?

I'm a bit concerned about the proliferation of game frameworks and engines, maybe it would be good to try to reduce them, but I'm not exactly sure how it would be possible to achieve that. Any ideas?
