Hi Michal,

good to hear from you!

The new 1.1 version contains some changes proposed by me. Package is
well complete, but I've not yet uploaded it just because mentors.d.n has
experiencing some problems. I'm attaching the message I'd send to my ITP
(before posting a RFS) to explain all of my work on that package.

I'd like also to file an ITP about fatrat's plugins, and I've already
discussed this with Lubos (upstream), but the real problems are that 1)
i'm a bit busy with my thesis atm, and 2) I don't know (yet) how to
create a sigle package from more source packages.
In other words, I think it's bad to create three single packages each
one including just one file, but I had no time last weeks to investigate
about repackaging upstream sources on d-policy and dd-reference... so
I'll delay plugin packaging a bit more.

Can I send you the source package via email or should I wait for upload
to mentors?

Thanks,
Cristian

Hi,

work on this package is complete, and I'm going to upload it on mentors
and request for sponsor.

During this time I worked together with upstream in order to improve the
application and also to make it better suitable for Debian packaging. In
particular:

- I asked him to add full copyright notices about all locales files and
  images shipped within the tarball;
- I asked him to improve its cmake build file (just fix a relative path)
  in order to correctly build the application in a directory other than
  the source root dir (needed to build the package with debian/rules in a
  separate subdir);
- I asked him to release fatrat also in a gzip tarball, better suitable
  for Debian, and also to allow directory browsing for its website, in
  order to fix the HTTP 403 error with debian/watch;
- I advised him to write a manpage for fatrat;
- I asked him to fix lintian minor issues.

Regards,
Cristian
