That would be great. I'm not a Debian packaging guru so the existing .deb is pretty much the minimum required to get it working.
Please let me know if there are any upstream changes I can do to make maintaining the .deb package easier (signing releases, applying patches, etc.).

I would like to package diffuse for Debian.
As I've seen you already have create a .deb .
As far as I can tell it would not go into Debian the way it is now.
If you like, I would redo the packaging an get it into Debian, since
there has been a RFP (see [1]).
