The package is currently maintained under the Package Vim Maintainers
umbrella but there's no one that's really giving it the proper attention
it needs. There are an increasing number of bugs, the scripts are
fairly complex, and upstream doesn't seem to be very active.
The package description is:
vim-latexsuite attempts to provide a comprehensive set of tools to view,
edit and compile LaTeX documents in Vim. Together, they provide tools starting
from macros to speed up editing LaTeX documents to functions for forward
searching .dvi documents.

This package also provides help to LaTeX in Vim.
