Bug#336974: Debian newbiedoc orphaned package

I have been a member of the NewbieDOC project since 2002. I am currently
managing the project and maintaining the website. The newbiedoc Debian package,
based on the website content, used to be maintained by Romain Lerallut, but he
has been inactive in the NewbieDOC project for some time.

I would be interested in taking over newbiedoc now that it has become an
orphaned package. I am not a Debian Developer. It may be that Romain would be
willing to sponsor me, but I know that his academic studies have been a prority
recently.
