See http://people.debian.org/~codehelp/#lang It's an unusual situation - normally the previous DD is the ideal person to sponsor the new maintainer adopting the package. The problem here is that the new upstream version of glipper is a completely new application in nearly all relevant aspects. If there is anything I can do with regard to migrating from the old glipper package to the new, I will help out, of course. I can't really sponsor the new version because it merely shares the same name as the package I maintained, almost nothing of that codebase remains. :-( I would recommend that you work with http://mentors.debian.net where you will find sponsors who are able to work with python. Also, please treat the new glipper package as if it was NEW and ask your sponsor to do the same. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
