Bug#398198: Last update on pkg

Salut,

Loic, sorry for the mess, I was also a bit confused. Things are getting clear now. And to state things better, I am perfectly happy if Mathias can have the maintainership of the package. I will keep an eye on what's going on, because it is very instructive for me too. I am probably as new as Mathias in this world:)
The last diff proposed solve some of the remaining issues.

Still to do:
Add something like this in the changelog
* Diff accepted (Closes: #398198)

Add flex and pkg-config in build-dep.

Thank you guys!

Regards,

I am very interested in helping to turn Vala into a reliable tool. Being
responsible for bugs in its Debian package definitely would help to
reach this goal. So I want to try maintaining Vala's package.

The Ubuntu folks understand how important a wealthy Debian is for them.
So they encourage everyone, who wants to upload packages to Ubuntu, to
join the Debian crowd first. Well, here I am! :-)

Well, actually it was the Debian I've found on my virtual server, which
made me consider Unbuntu as desktop OS. Well, and for servers I
definitly prefer Debian already.

Ciao,
Mathias
